I Love Google Plus! (Part 2) The Women to Follow on Google Plus!

Happy Anniversary to Wade and his wife for Five years of being Married! So while he is off at the beach he asked me to write up a guest post for him. Last week he did a post on Men you should follow on Google Plus. I decided on doing one on the Women you should follow on Google Plus!

Early on in my blogging career while I was learning I happened to come across a lot of sites that I found helpful. Whether related to Affiliate Marketing, Copy writing, or WordPress tutorials they all offer a lot of great information and have very active communities. Even better is they helped me tremendously to helping me get my own project off the ground! So here is my list of Women to Follow on Google Plus:

Kristi Hines of Kikolani and Kristi Hines

Of course you already know who Kristi Hines is! Well when I first decided to get serious about blogging I didn’t. I just knew of some great tutorials she had on her site for Thesis that helped me build mine. I later realized what a dynamo she is in the blogging world. She is EVERYWHERE on the web and all of her content is awesome. I would check out her latest post: 32 Experts Share Their Best Blog Promotion Tips to see what I am talking about.

Ana Hoffman of Traffic Generation Cafe

I’ve been following Ana and her site Traffic Generation Cafe for what she gives away to helping you to not only get traffic on your site but how to market it on a budget it as well. She provides a lot of great information. I suggest signing up for her newsletter to get her Weekly Marketing Skinny articles she posts every week to help keep you up to date on what is happening from around the web. Her latest post on 5 Custom Google Analytic Dashboards in 5 Minutes will help you get the information you want rather than having to dig through their menus.

Rae Hoffman of Sugarrae

I found Rae originally for the Thesis tutorials she had written. I didn’t know she is a literal bad ass in Affiliate Marketing at the time. She recently was the keynote speaker at Affiliate Summit East 2013 (YouTube Link) and talked about her recent son’s passing. I suggest you read (and bookmark) her article as well: 11 Things My Son Taught Me About Life & Business

And even better? She was crazy enough to mail her list stating she would give some free advise on how to better market your blog and she was kind enough to give me some tips.

Nile Flores of Blondish.net

I recently found Niles Flores through her WordPress community group on Facebook: All About WordPress. But she does a lot more than that. Not only does she offer great WordPress tutorials on her site, she can also help you with designing your WordPress site from the ground up. Just make sure you let her know I sent you ;) Check out her new series on WordPress Plugins for Niche sites: Niche Recommended Plugin Series

Kimberly Castleberry on just-ask-kim.com

Although I know Kim as Nile Flores partner in crime on Facebook and she has answered a lot of my questions on Facebook about WordPress. She has her own site and offers Social Media Marketing and more! Check out her post: How to Add a Recommendation Box to Facebook

Holly Jahangiri of jahangiri.us

Holly is a dear friend of mine. Although she isn’t an online guru Marketer or WordPress expert. She is a very smart funny lady who knows how to write! I would check out her latest post to see what I mean: Hello Gorgeous…. Impersonated on Facebook

Allie Irish of Ramblings of a WAHM

Allie is another blogger whom I started following when I was first getting started out. Her niche is all about the Work at Home Mom she has a great beginner series for new bloggers that I read. I think you’ll like it too: Step by Step Blogging #1: New Bloggers Start Here

    Sweeeet!!

Thanks for putting me on your list!!! I really appreciate it and I am honored to be in such great company, you and Wade included, even though you are not moms, lol. But, really, the women with me are amazing so thank you for placing me with them!

I realized I did not have Sugarae in my circle to follow so I am really glad you have her here. She is great. I was already following the other women.

    • Twitter:
Allie – I’m glad you enjoyed it! You definitely deserve to be on it for the help you provided to me. I had a lot of fun putting the list together (which wasn’t as easy as you might think!) Do you have anyone else you would suggest adding to the list?

    • Holly Jahangiri says:

Still trying to figure out HOW I could’ve NOT had you in my Circles, Allie – unless you joined after I did and using a different email addy than the one I had…

Anyway, that’s rectified, thanks to Jason! ;)

Also did not have Sugarrae or Nile – but I trust Jason, so hey – nice to meet you ladies, too!

      • Holly,

I generally don’t use my Gmail email that often. YOu would most likely have my other one. So I can see that. What is funny, I figured I had you in my circles too. Like it was just something I did early on and left it. I ma finding that many people are still not there.
        Glad to see ya again!
        ~Allie

  3. A great list of women to follow! I did recognize 4 of them, but 2 were new to me. I really need to dive into Google+ and start using it more. This post might just be the tipping point to spend more time there.

Jason this list is made up of wonderful ladies. I’ll go check and follow them. Thanks for adding value

  6. Thank you for mentioning me on your list, Jason. I really appreciate it. What most people don’t know is some of the people you mention either their mentor learned from me or a good friend of mine. I don’t just teach WordPress, but I also teach blogging since I’ve been doing it for 13 years…lol.

  7. I always see Kristi Hines everywhere. Especially when I’m searching about SEO related articles. Her writings are always informative.

  8. Thanks for the list, I’ll be following them later on. I already know most of them but it’s nice to know someone new to follow who you can get good informationa and inspiration from.
