Social Media Sharing Groups

Social Media Sharing

One of the most top priorities of a blogger, besides making money, is getting their posts noticed on social media sites. When you start out it’s kind of harder to get noticed on these sites if you don’t have a lot of followers or friends. You are out there all alone and millionssocial media sharing of potential traffic is slipping from your grasp.  You can get noticed with certain products that guarantee viral traffic from social sites to get your posts noticed. But pair this up with these tips below and you have a recipe for success!

Now there are many things that you can do to get your posts noticed, and you may want to check out my post on Why I Won’t Share Your Social Media Posts to get a better handle on the primary objectives and the overall view of getting your social profile perfect on your site.

However, if you’re not getting the traffic, then you’re not getting the shares. You can remedy this in my free ebook called Boost Your Social Media Traffic Overnight…Guaranteed!  This will show you how to get traffic from the actual social sites. A very powerful tool to get noticed!

However, this is not what this post is about. This is about getting your posts TO the social platforms…and it’s a pretty good idea too, even if I didn’t come up with it!

Social Media Friends

I have always said that if you want to succeed in blogging, then you need to make friends and relationships with other bloggers in your niche. Getting to know these people will help your blog to “break out” of it’s shell and get noticed. Having relationships with other bloggers in your niche will allow you to receive reciprocal links, guest posts, and the last one, social media shares, which is what this post is about.

Creating A Social Sharing Group

I first saw this idea from Enstine Muki, and he was telling his readers about a great idea called Traffic Strategy For Bloggers, and in this post he tells of the idea of creating Social Sharing Groups.

This is a great idea! Getting a group of 12-15 bloggers in your niche and sharing each others posts and content is a sure-fire way to get traffic flowing steadily to your blog.

What You Will Need

  • Bloggers In Your Niche- Make sure these bloggers are people that you can trust to share your content.  You don’t want 15 people that are just sitting idle while no one shares!  That eliminates the whole point!  Make sure you know they will share!
  • A “Headquater Page”- This is where everyone in your group can come to update their social information so the other members that have joined before and after them can share.  This can be a Facebook page, a free Blogger site, or anything that you can think of that will give the information to your new members.
  • Social Icons- Make sure you have the most updated social sharing icons on your site that are easy to see so your group, and other visitors can see where to share from.

Having a group of like-minded bloggers like this will go a long way in social sharing.  Now, you are not alone in getting your content out to these platforms.  With everyone working together, you have more of a chance of getting noticed with a group like this.  A smaller group is less likely to be considered as spam, and it is more likely that a smaller social group will be more determined to share each others posts.

social mediaIf you haven’t been around a while, or have just started, then it may take a little longer before you can get a group like this started up, or even be invited to a group like this.  If you are new, then I recommend that you get yourself out there and start visiting blogs in your niche, contacting the blog owner, and sharing their posts.

Believe it or not, blogging is not about you.  It’s not about your site.  Sure you want to make money!  However, when you are getting started, you need to share other people’s posts, not the other way around.  Blogging is a giving business.  Pretty soon people will see that you have become a regular visitor, shared their posts, and commented, and will take notice of you!

In Conclusion:

Social platforms are powerful tools to create social media cash quickly! However, getting to know your fellow blogger is the most important tip that I can give you. Taking the time to share people’s content is what it’s going to take to bring your blog to the next level of success.

Now I know you want to make money quickly! I’ll just be the first to burst your bubble. Blogging is not a get rich quick business. However, if you can stick with it, it’s one of the most lucrative businesses online to make money!

Getting a social sharing group together is a step in the right direction and it can do nothing but get your site noticed more quickly!

Remember, it is never about you! It’s always about your readers and your fellow bloggers. Why? Because all of this giving that you are doing now, will come around later and benefit you for a successful blog that people love!

  1. Hey Wade,
Thanks for mentioning my post here and I’m glad you are in my group.
As a matter of fact, we have a powerful tool to grow. I encourage bloggers to form such groups and be active. This will surely give them a boost

  2. I do like this idea. Does anyone know of any of these kinds of groups that have been created that are looking for members?
