Web Apps To Supercharge Your Online Social Life – Part 3

Social Media is important, especially for bloggers those who want to expand their reach. Part-1 was about Twitter and Part-2 was about Facebook. But, Part-3 and Part-4 will be about All-In-Ones. These web apps can be really helpful if you know how to use them effectively.

Well, I can’t tell you how you are going to use them. But what I can do is let you know about these web apps. So, without further delay, let’s take a look at some of these web apps.

KURRENTLY

Kurrently is a real time social media search engine which includes Facebook, Twitter and Google+. It is more than a search engine. social web appsKurrently can help you to monitor your brand , follow live events and also find interesting content.

The best thing about this search engine is that you can search for a post on a definite keyword in an individual site or altogether. The results are shown with the latest to the oldest in the order they were shared.

Another advantage is that you can choose the speed (0.5x, 1.0x, 2.0x) at which Kurrently refreshes results. Well, the best way to test this app is to try it yourself. Just type “supercharge online social life” and see what happens.

STORIFY

Storify is one of the best web apps out there. It’s design is similar to StumbleUpon, but it has a lot more to offer. You can login via Facebook or Twitter or create a new account. The first thing that you will see is a blank page which will require you to add a headline or a description and then create or bring in a story that you want to publish.

You can search for your own content with an in-built search engine on different social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Flickr, Google+ etc. You can also create your own story by directly embedding URLs of your choice and hit Publish. The story you created can be shared again on almost all your social networks directly from there.

One of the best web apps there is and worth checking out.

PRISMATIC

Prismatic, one of the best web apps (supported on IPhone 5) is a great way to study your social media sites. What Prismatic does is collects your data from all your social media sites like what you like, who you follow, what things you usually like and creates a custom page. The custom page or a feed (you could say) will contain some interesting content or topics which you are likely to like.

It will also suggest you some websites , people or sections to follow based on the data collected. It will also show you some of the latest or trending topics from around the globe according to your choices.

Overall, a great app to use. :)

So, that’s it for Part-3. There will be one more post after this where I will mention 4 more cool web apps. So, stay tuned for the final post in this series.

Do share your views with us about these web apps. We love to get feedbacks.
